Sunny Brook Hospital is keeping up its fight against breast cancer. It has opened the country?s largest breast cancer center in Toronto.

Sunnybrook president and CEO Doctor Barry McLellan said one out of every 10 women in Canada who has a breast cancer diagnosis will be treated the center and that the breakthroughs that are made there, will serve to improve the care and detection of the disease, with the ultimate goal of one day, making the center obsolete.

The center is named after donor Louise Temerty, who, along with her husband Jim, gave ten- million dollars to Sunnybrook Hospital
